Introducing Fundraising Division: A New Chapter for Indonesian Tourist Guide Association in Jakarta

The Fundraising Division of the Indonesian Tourist Guide Association - DKI Jakarta, led by Adrianus Waranei Muntu, was inaugurated on November 21, 2024. JAKARTA, CareerFest.id - The Indonesian Tourist Guide Association (ITGA) or Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia (HPI) DKI Jakarta Provincial Chapter officially launched its new division; Fundraising Division (Biro Cipta Dana), at its Regional Work Meeting or Rapat Kerja Daerah (Rakerda) on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

The ceremony held in the Mandala Room of the Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Agency or Dinas Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Disparekraf) DKI Jakarta building.

The inauguration was officiated by Indra Diwangkara, Chairman of the ITGA DKI Jakarta Provincial Chapter, who highlighted the strategic importance of this new division.

Led by Adrianus Waranei Muntu, affectionately known as Rinus, Fundraising Division will spearhead innovative initiatives, including the much-anticipated Hospitality, Tourism, Creative Career Fest 2025-2026.

Rinus, who also serves as a lecturer at a private tourism university in Jakarta, holds multiple pivotal roles.

In addition to being the Chief of Fundraising Division, he is the General Coordinator and Head of Marketing and Sponsorship for the Career Fest.

Fundraising Division boasts a dynamic team of talented professionals; Mutia Azzahra Erisa Putri, Lazuardi Iman, and Regine Aurora Lorelei Cabral.

Each member brings unique skills to the table, promising a vibrant future for ITGA Jakarta’s fundraising and event execution efforts.

Indra Diwangkara shared his optimism about the launch, "this division is a crucial step forward for ITGA Jakarta. With Rinus and his capable team at the helm, we can expect a wave of transformative initiatives that will not only strengthen our organization but also benefit the community at large."

A Vision for the Work Program
The division’s primary agenda is the execution of Career Fest, a groundbreaking event set to connect job seekers with career opportunities in hospitality, tourism, and creative industries.

The 2025-2026 edition is particularly ambitious, spanning 12 vocational schools across 12 cities and regencies in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek).

Rinus expressed his enthusiasm about the project, "Career Fest is more than just an event; it’s a movement to inspire the next generation of industry leaders. We want to give job seekers not only a glimpse of career possibilities but also the tools to navigate their professional journeys with confidence."

He also emphasized the broader mission, "our division is committed to creating opportunities for collaboration and innovation. Whether it’s through partnerships or programs like Career Fest, we aim to uplift the tourism and hospitality sectors in Jakarta and beyond."
